Ease of Removal
Foam concrete can be designed to specific strengths in order to allow for any future removal that may be required during planned or emergency maintenance of utilities and services buried within the concrete.
Sometimes excavations of other trench or void-fill products can be susceptible to unpredictable gains in strength due to delivery and production methods, making it difficult to remove cleanly and quickly.
Foam concrete on the other hand is produced on site, to exact requirements and can be easily excavated with commonly used construction tools.
