Experience

The first large foam concrete project in the UK was completed in 1980 at the Falkirk Railway Tunnel in Scotland, with some 4500m3 of 1100 kg/m3 foam being produced and placed in order to fill the (annulus) space surrounding the tunnel.

The largest project in the United Kingdom to date, required around 70,000m3 of 500kg/m3 density foam concrete, to encapsulate the utilities supply pipes and cables conduits buried deep within in the road foundations at Canary Wharf in east London. Since then Foam Concrete Limited has supplied a large number of projects requiring up to 19000m3 of lightweight foam concrete.

Quality assured to ISO 9001:2000, Foam Concrete Limited is well qualified to provide clients with innovative solutions in sometimes challenging situations. With an extensive database of mix-designs, a team with many years of practical field experience and a large investment in high-volume on-site production equipment, you can be sure that you will benefit from both a professional service and a top-quality product.
