Wet Slurry Pump
During a visit to see colleagues in The Netherlands, we were extremely impressed with the quality of the lightweight foam concrete produced by the ‘wet-pump’ method. In fact we liked it so much, we bought the machine!
This trailer-mounted pump unit produces foam concrete with densities typically ranging between 500 kg/m3 and 1200 kg/m3 by introducing pre-formed protein-based or synthetic foam into one of a range of specially designed sand/cement base-mixes. With twin, on-board Bredel pumps, ‘Pump 9’ as we call the machine, can place foam concrete up to 150 linear metres away.
